Weekly Classes

The classes that I offer each week vary in style and duration, but what is the same about each class is that it's suitable for anyone. Whether you are a complete beginner, or have been practicing for years, there is something for you. 

Yoga for All is a Hatha class that will often include a breathing practice (pranayama), physical movement (asana) and meditation. You'll move slowly and steadily, building strength, finding space to hold poses, and practicing in a way that works for YOUR body. Rest is welcomed and encouraged whenever you need it, and we have a lot of fun playing around with poses and not being too serious about it all!

Slow Flow is a 30 minute class working to combine movement and breath, to allow the body to move fluidly and with strength. In some classes you might spend the full 30 minutes on your feet, and sometimes you might spend time transitioning between seated, kneeling and standing poses.

Yoga Nidra (yoga sleep) is a practice that involves very little movement, usually spent lying down or in a restorative yoga pose. This is a guided meditation that allows you to find that state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. There is evidence that Yoga Nidra can help to relieve stress and anxiety.
