Safe Practice Guidance


    When booking a class with Kate GW Yoga, you agree that:

  • You will listen to your body, and not do anything that you are not comfortable with or that causes you any pain. 

  • You are fit to safely participate in a yoga class and will seek medical/specialist advice beforehand if you are unsure.

  • You will advise your teacher before the class if there is any relevant medical information to be provided.

  • If you are pregnant, you are practicing at your own risk.

  • You will let your teacher know if this is your first-time practicing yoga or if you are not confident about your experience and/or ability

  • In all classes, whether face to face, live streamed remote or pre-recorded remote, you will always follow your teacher’s safety instructions and listen to your body.  Where a movement or a class is beyond your experience or ability, feels too difficult for you, or you experience any discomfort, you will not continue the movement or the class.

  • You will let your teacher know if any modification or adjustment doesn't feel right.

  • Should you be experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19, or if you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 7 days, you will NOT attend an in-person class.
